John Sheputis

President

John has a proven track record of building successful IT infrastructure firms. Prior to Infomart Data Centers (formerly Fortune Data Centers), John has founded and managed several Silicon Valley ventures, most of which specialized in large-scale infrastructure management and hosting of global applications. From 1999 through 2003, he was COO and Co-Founder of Totality (now a unit of Verizon Business), which helped launch and manage over 100 Internet applications for some of the nation’s most trusted and well respected firms. John also held senior management positions at Solidcore (sold to MacAfee [MFE] in 2009), BeVocal (Sold to Nuance [NUAN] in 2007), Enron, Gemini Consulting, and Accenture. John has a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School.

Don Jenkins

VP of Operations

Don has over 20 years of engineering and critical facility operations experience. Don started with Infomart Data Centers (formerly Fortune Data Centers) in 2008 during the construction and commissioning of its Silicon Valley data center. Don leads all aspects of operations and engineering and is focused on constantly improving the tools, systems, processes, and procedures to increase departmental efficiency and effectiveness. Under Don’s leadership, Infomart Silicon Valley earned the Uptime Institute’s prestigious M&O certification in 2012. Don holds many current certifications, including Data Center Design professional, Data Center Management Professional, and Certified Data Center Energy Professional. Also, Fire Life Safety Director, and Electrical Safety, as well as a BS in Industrial Technology from Illinois State University.

Charles Murphy

Vice President of Property Management

Charles has been with Infomart Dallas for 22 years. As the Property Manager, he manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the 1.6M sq. ft. facility, including tenant services, accounting, and commercial leasing. Charles is very well respected within the facility because of his responsiveness and follow-through on deliverables. Studying both Business and Real Estate in college, alongside 35 years of industry experience, Charles has a keen understanding for the operations of Infomart Dallas.

Paul Vaccaro

SVP Operations and Engineering

Paul Vaccaro is the Senior Vice President of Operations and Engineering for Infomart Data Centers. Paul is a 30 year IT Professional, and has spent the past 10 years working in the Mission Critical Facilities and Data Center Industry as an Enterprise Operator, and Data Center Engineer. Paul’s previous role was working for Intel Corporation, where he managed Data Center Operation activities around the globe. Vaccaro has co-authored several white papers on important industry topics such as: 1,100 wpsf High Density Data Center Design, High Efficiency Data Center Design and Retrofits Best Practices, Data Center Infrastructure Management Best Practices, and Data Center Site Selection Criteria.  Paul supported Intel’s’ Internal customer groups from Silicon Design, Manufacturing, and Enterprise IT on cost and energy efficient requirements, facility design, deployment, and sustaining operations of Intel’s global data centers. Paul has extensive experience traveling both nationally and internationally, speaking at conferences, and supporting Data Center Best practices engagements for top multi-national corporations.

Michael Carnes

VP of Sales – Central Region

Michael Carnes is responsible for the conceptualization, implementation and execution of successful brand and market strategies that facilitate the overall growth of Infomart Dallas, placing a special focus on select verticals such as Cloud Computing, Oil & Gas and Energy. He is also accountable for the satisfaction and retention of Infomart Dallas’ hosting, managed services and cloud provider customers. Michael has more then 20 years experience in the data center market. An early employee of Data Return (acquired by Terremark), now a subsidiary of Verizon Communications, he quickly rose up the ranks to lead one of the company’s nationwide sales teams. Following his tenure at Data Return, Mr. Carnes held various sales leadership roles at several tech start-ups, including Kabira, Metallect, Software Spectrum, Mareechi, RSPEED, Inc., and NaviSite, Inc. (now a Time Warner Cable Company), and returned to the data center industry in 2011 to assist in the development of the colocation group for Digital Realty Trust in Dallas. Most recently, he formed a new company called Patronus Data Centers, which purchased 35 acres of land in Frisco, Texas with the intent of developing it into a new suburban data center campus.

Jim joined Infomart Data Centers in 2015 to lead its sales and marketing efforts for its Portland and Silicon Valley facilities. He has a 25-year successful track record of corporate management in the technology and enterprise software development sector, most recently spending six years as VP of Sales for ViaWest. Jim is a passionate technology leader with a long history of creating strategy, building high-performance teams, and serving as an advocate for his community. He currently serves as the Founding President and Board Chair of the Oregon and SW Washington Chapter of the 7×24 Exchange.

Bruce MacLean

Chief Financial Officer

Bruce has over 20 years of experience in the real estate/financial industry. Prior to Infomart Data Centers (Formerly Fortune Data Centers), Bruce was the President of Embarcadero Advisors, a real estate advisory/ brokerage firm focused on tenant representation. Prior to that, he spent eight years at Trammel Crow, where he spent three years as the Controller for Northern California. At Trammel Crow, he participated in the sale of a 19-property portfolio with $170M value for PacBell (now AT&T), performed all Acquisition/Disposition of properties for Exxon, among many other significant transactions. Bruce has also held various accounting & consulting positions with PWC, Ernst & Young, and Deloitte. He has a BA from UC Berkeley and holds a current California CPA license.

Andrew Gold

SVP of Corp. Dev. & Chief Counsel

Andrew has been practicing law at large law firms and in-house at technology and venture capital firms in the US and Europe for almost 20 years. In 2000, he was a founding Board member of iWorld Group, an investment fund focused on mobile applications. From 2007- 2009, Andrew served as CEO of Straitshot Communications, a Seattle network services company. Andrew has a JD, magna cum laude, from the Washington College of Law. He earned a BA from Emory University and was a Lecturer in Public Speaking and Director of Debate at Stanford University.

Nancy Windrow-Pearce

Assistant Property Manager

As the Assistant Property Manager of Infomart Dallas, Nancy assists the Property Manager in the daily operations of the building, including the management of tenant services, IT support, HR, Marketing, and managing the building’s many amenities and meeting rooms. With 14 years on the Infomart Dallas team, and over 30 years of Real Estate Management experience, Nancy is well equipped to handle the many responsibilities of her position. Customers and coworkers alike respect her for her caring, responsive, and dependable nature. Nancy graduated from SMU with a double major in Graphic Design and Anthropology, and a Minor in Art History.

Joey Weems

Director of Information Technology

Joey has an impressive track record, consisting of both the oversight of day-to-day IT support functions as well as the setting of larger IT strategic visions, systemic budgeting and staffing, and company-wide system and process implementations.  With a prior background of nearly six years in the US Navy, a bachelors of Finance and an MBA, Joey’s diverse palate of skills brings a unique perspective to organizational opportunities.

Doug Shotwell

Vice President of Development

Doug has over 15 years of engineering and construction management experience. Prior to Infomart, Doug worked for Rosendin Electric, where he managed multiple construction projects, including Data Center construction. Doug has managed Data Center Construction from the Design/Development stages to the Final Commissioning & Turn Overs stages. Doug has worked with various trade disciplines to coordinate and resolve technical issues for projects and he has been directly responsible for implementing Commissioning & Quality Assurance plans for a number of projects. Doug has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University.

Aubrey Putney

Dir. of Marketing & Sales Ops

As the Director of Marketing and Sales Operations for Infomart Data Centers, Aubrey has sales process, marketing, and reporting under her umbrella of responsibilities.
Aubrey has spent nearly a decade in Sales Operations and Marketing for technology companies, primarily at high-growth managed services companies like Rackspace Hosting. She is actively involved in the Salesforce.com community and continually develops sales process and workflow efficiencies at Infomart Data Centers. Aubrey has a BS from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.

Robert Balster

Security Operations Supervisor

Robert has over 12 years of data center physical security experience. Robert started with Infomart Data Centers in 2009 at the completion of the construction and commissioning of its Silicon Valley data center. During his time with Infomart he has had the experience identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies and procedures to protect critical customer and business assets as well as employees. Robert leads all aspects of security operations and security compliance and is focused on constantly improving the tools, systems, processes, and procedures to increase departmental efficiency and effectiveness. Robert has helped Infomart complete certifications for PCI-DSS, HIPPA, SOC2 and SSAE-16. Robert has a BS degree in Justice Studies from San Jose State University.

Scott Mitchell

Senior VP of Sales

Scott Mitchell serves as the Senior Vice President of Sales and is responsible for Infomart’s National Sales Team, including growth of the data center portfolio and professional services. Scott has 25 years of technology and senior leadership experience running veteran high-caliber sales teams for market leading companies such as Verizon, Ericsson, and Rackspace. These experiences have given Scott specific industry experience and knowledge in telecom networks and systems, IT outsourcing solutions, combined with the managed services provider (internet hosting) category.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing and Finance from The University of Texas at Austin and earned his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Baylor University.

Casey Vanderbeek

Director–Customer Technical Solutions

Casey joined Infomart Data Centers in 2016 to build out Infomart’s solution design and implementation disciplines. He is an expert in understanding customer requirements and being able to identify a solution to meet their needs. Casey has a 20-year history in supporting, planning and managing information technology initiatives.  Immediately before  joining Infomart Casey spent 10-years with ViaWest where he was instrumental in building the Oregon market and was the lead solution engineer for the Pacific Northwest and Northern California.   His experiences in managing IT Teams and corporate data center initiatives has given Casey the ability to address the real-world concerns of Infomart’s customers.  Casey has a BA in Business Management from the University of New Mexico.

Larry has spent 18 years in Data Centers and Operations. Larry began working at Infomart Silicon Valley in 2008 where he remained until he became involved with all aspects of the design and build process of Infomart Portland. As the Chief Engineer of Infomart Portland, he leads a skilled crew of engineers in all aspects of mission-critical electrical/mechanical data center operations. Larry has earned many certifications including Certified Data Center Design Professional (CDCDP), Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM) and is currently seeking Certification in Telecommunications Project Manager (CTPM). He worked as a mechanical technician in the U.S. Army, tank division, Fort Knox Kentucky and attended college at CSUS and National College.

Office Manager/Human Resources

Steve joined Infomart Data Centers as Office Manager and Human Resources liaison and brings a variety of experience to the team, including Project Management and Sales Support skills leveraged to help client financial service company teams grow and prosper. He has produced strategic training materials for the banking and medical fields and served as International Correspondent for financial publications in both London and Tokyo. Steve is also a SAG-Aftra actor and voiceover artist. He holds a BA in International Relations from UC Berkeley and a Japanese language proficiency certificate from Sendagaya Japanese Institute.

Shawn Kane joined Infomart Data Centers in 2015, after the acquisition of the former AOL Data Center, now known as Infomart Ashburn. As the Director of Data Center Services for AOL, Shawn brings valuable knowledge of that facility to the Infomart team. He leverages his 23 years of experience in critical infrastructure construction and operation to assist Infomart Data Centers with master planning for new sites as well as renovations to existing facilities. Shawn has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager for Infomart Ashburn, Frank is responsible for the safety, availability, and customer service aspects of this facility. He has worked in technology for 35 years, most recently spending 16 years with AOL’s Virginia Data Center, which was acquired by Infomart in 2014. Frank brings creativity and a service mentality to the Infomart Ashburn team, and he will be assisting in the construction projects to bring this facility up to Infomart Data Center’s high standards.
